20-lecie działalności kompozytorskiej dyrygenta Orkiestry Politechniki Opolskiej Przemysława Ślusarczyka

25 października 2007 roku połączone orkiestry Politechniki Opolskiej i Zespołu Szkół Elektrycznych pod dyrekcją Przemysława Ślusarczyka inaugurowały cykl koncertów “Muzyczne Impresje na Politechnice Opolskiej” w Auli Politechniki Opolskiej, przy ul. Katowickiej 48. Koncert był jednocześnie promocją wspomnianego (w poprzedniej informacji) wydania pierwszego numeru zeszytów muzycznych PO - Marsza Politechniki Opolskiej.
Sam dyrygent uczcił tym koncertem 20-lecie swojej pracy kompozytorskiej, bowiem pierwsza kompozycja “Wizja No.1″ na fortepian powstała i została ukończona właśnie dwadzieścia lat temu, w październiku 1987 roku. Kompozycja została wykonana publicznie przez kompozytora miesiąc później w sali kameralnej PSM w Opolu. Pierwsze publiczne wykonanie większej formy nastąpiło 21 grudnia 1992 roku. Był to II Koncert wiolonczelowy, wykonany w sali Filharmonii Krakowskiej.
Twórczość Przemysława Ślusarczyka jest bogata i różnorodna. Katalog obejmuje ponad 350 utworów, w tym: 7 symfonii na orkiestrę, 4 symfonii organowych, utwory orkiestrowe i muzykę kameralną, muzykę baletową, filmową, teatralną, 6 cykli wokalno - instrumentalnych, ponad 50 piosenek poetyckich, aranżacje, miniatury na instrumenty solo. Jego utwory były wykonywane podczas wielu koncertów i festiwali w kraju oraz za granicą.
