London’s Gay and Lesbian scene has really developed over the last five years, and the homophobic attitudes of old are slowly evaporating. The Gay scene in London is quite staggering. It really is a community, with gay restaurants, gay barbers, gay clothing shops, gay bars, gay accountants, gay health clubs, gay estate agents - gay everything under the sun.
To experience Gay London head straight (!) to Soho. You can’t miss it - it practically screams out at you at every turn. Go into a shop or bar and pick up the fliers to get an idea of where people are going.
London’s Pride Festival 2007 will be held from 15th June until Pride Day on 30th June and promises a bigger ‘burlesque’ event in Leicester Square. The festival will be showcasing over 300 exhibitions, film screenings, sporting events, concerts, theatre, comedy and cabaret performances, as well as special galas and one-off parties.

Exit is a three floor, modern gay club with a large dance floor overlooked by a balcony at standard cruising height. Trendy is the key word here, with an expense psychedelic light show and up-to-date dance music to back it up. A popular cruising ground at the weekends. Mainly male, but women welcome.
