Kicking off the work week on the set of her hit CW show, Blake Lively was spotted gearing up for “Gossip Girl” filming at the Standard Hotel in New York City on Monday (August 30).

Joined by her co-star boyfriend Penn Badgley, who followed behind his lady, the pair hit the trailers before delving into the day’s workload.

The “Gossip Girl” sighting comes amidst continuous rumors of building strife between Miss Lively and co-star Leighton Meester.

A National Enquirer source alleges, “Leighton thinks Blake is an egomaniac who views her time on the TV set as slumming. And Blake feels stifled. She’s just ignoring her co-star because she knows bigger things are in store.”

Surprisingly, Miss Lively’s rep didn’t necessarily deny the claims, saying, “Blake and Leighton have never been best friends and never professed to be. Blake goes to work, does her job, and goes home.”
